About Roger

Roger Wyer – Intuition Guide and Shaman, Plant Whisperer, Volunteer Organization Coach

You’ve got to believe in the one who helps you heal.

No amount of buzz words will create this belief. So, how do you decide to move forward here?

No reason to agonize over it. Just go with what your intuition is telling you.

Then the fun begins, as we learn more about each other and see what’s up for us.

What I will tell you is that the forces that work for your good come through me and not from me. I’ve worked hard to be a clear channel for healing work, and my travels through life have given me loads of reference points to connect with you and understand what’s coming through me.

I love working with you! It’s what my life is all about. It’s the work I was intended to do – prepared to do. I’m glad we’re meeting at this moment!

What’s a Shaman?

It’s no surprise there are loads of definitions for “Shaman.” Shamans have been practicing around the globe for thousands of years – healing the people and energy of their tribe – holding their 24/7 extended family together through every challenge they face. Each tribe’s survival depended on its Shaman. Shaman is a way of living, a calling, a deep connection with the unseen world. For me it means serving, sharing my awakening, loving all beings, and creating a better world. My credentials aren’t frameable – my learning comes from The Field.

In The Field

Over the years, I’ve been led to study and practice more than two dozen healing modalities. Now, I draw on my experiences as needed to suit each unique situation. Here’s what it mainly looks like:

I call upon spirits to help with guidance, messages, and direct healing. These spirits include plant and animal spirits, crystal spirits, ancestors, deceased human spirits, and angels.

I learned to move energy with my intention, so I do that.

I communicate directly with the energy of the trouble to find out why it is showing up for you, what it needs, and how to either it make it your ally or release it.

I work remotely to access the energy of organizations, gardens, and people.

I listen to your stories. In there I find symbols and metaphors and other clues about your trouble. I may challenge your version of what happened – your story – and I may offer a substitute version or tell my story around the same trouble. Together we upgrade your dysfunctional stories.

I challenge your beliefs. I don’t trouble you about what you believe, but when a belief is blocking you, I take it on. I may try to show you why it doesn’t work and why it isn’t true, and I may offer an alternate belief or beliefs for you to try.

I use symbols in creative ways to provide tools to help you heal.

I connect you directly with Nature. Nature has a plan for your healing. And I teach you to do it yourself if you so choose.

All of this represents my own version of shamanism. I call it Magick.

In Business

There’s got to be a better way. What is it? And how do we make the transition to that? This loop has played inside my head my whole life.

My dad was an efficiency expert for a big utility in Chicago. From him I learned to see life around me as embedded systems and daisy-chained processes.

I use two ways to discern my way forward through continuous improvement of my work and life. Years of experimenting with change in different types and styles of business led me to study organizational development theory and practice – to take the best research and stories and adapt them to whatever challenge my organization faced. Trial and error. This is the grounded way.

I’ve also studied and practiced developing my intuition. Much of the information I need in the moment is available  beyond the world of the our physical senses. I access this unseen world for information only available there. Getting “the rest of the story” makes a huge difference in daily decision-making. This is the woo way.

I love meaningful conversations. Among my favorite conversations are deep engagements with people about their biggest challenges. I use my experience and intuition to look for the juice in what I’m hearing.

And then I follow my leads to get to the core of the problem.

What leveraged action can be taken now to begin working down the trouble? This is the prescription piece. I look for a treatment that addresses root causes at the same time it lessens current symptoms. I understand that few businesses have the capacity to make sweeping changes. What change can be made that will open the door to a healthier business?

I don’t like to stop there. I prefer to stay with the implementation of the prescription so I can nurture its success. Part of my support is supporting you through implementation.

I respect people. I think the way we don’t support each other is a big problem in our world today. I believe my greatest impact lies in helping business leaders deal with their deepest troubles so they can bring a stronger presence to their work.
